Good Finish

Hello there. Team tennis has finished and I had a great experience playing for the Springfield Lasers. I could not have asked to be on a more enjoyable team! Not only were my teammates and coach awesome, but the staff and volunteers were the best around!
With their support and dedication to the team we were able to compete and feel comfortable playing at the highest level. We traveled a lot, played against the top players in the world, and had a blast! I really learned a great amount from my team members and opponents, and gratefully did well! Our team ended up fifth overall in the team standings (very well considering we were one of the few team that didn't have a marquee player because of injury). Rick and I finished up eleventh overall in the standings in mixed doubles, and Kelly and I ended up second in the rankings in doubles!
I want to really thank everyone that came out to watch our matches and showing your support! It meant so much to me and to the rest of the team! Hope to see you next season and Go Lasers!
